Throughout my journey, I have had tremendous support from my family and friends. They have listened to me cry, scream, and rail against my situation in anger. They have been there during my “crazy” days and kept me within the bounds of societal standards of “sanity”. They have celebrated my joys, successes, and cheered me on. Without them, this blog wouldn’t be possible.
One of the things my friends and family have done is given me a repertoire of pithy statements, all which have an underlying meaning. Those statements will become the titles of the posts on this blog as I move forward the next part of my journey of becoming, a year long sabbatical where I will travel the world…alone. It is my sincere hope that if you or someone you love is struggling with their life becoming undefined that these statements will help as much as they have helped me.
To all my family and friends (both real and virtual): I love you. You are men and women of honor, integrity and compassion. I would trust you with my life. Thank you all.
